I love this gallery of posters by Simon Page for the International Year of Astronomy.

I am planning on entering NaNoWriMo; for anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's National Novel Writing Month.

This was a spur of the moment project upon concluding my final paper for my A-level project; this was written as a statement of intent to experiment with creating realities through texture, form, and time. I am still currently pursuing the outcome of this.

This is a 4000 word piece I wrote to conclude my A-Level art project. I am personally very proud of it, but some of the concepts I put forward as a means to getting art accepted as a modern form of cultural communication are a bit weighty considering my main point is directly aimed at capturing everybody.

This is an update on an article I wrote about piracy earlier this year. I have made giant edits and shortened it by a whole page (it was three A4 pages and it is now only two) which will hopefully make it considerably easier to read.

Just something I wrote about an hour ago. Thinking of making "Late Night Script Writing Brought to you by Red Bull" a feature; not sure how often yet though.
“In study after study, of composers, basketball players, fiction writers, ice-skaters, concert pianists, chess players, master criminals, this number comes up again and again. Ten thousand hours is equivalent to roughly three hours a day, or 20 hours a week, of practice over 10 years… No one has yet found a case in which true world-class expertise was accomplished in less time. It seems that it takes the brain this long to assimilate all that it needs to know to achieve true mastery.“
Set 3 of 4 in the Barcelona series, I've begun thinking about doing some black and white (my favourite kind of photograph) but I think it's too late in the process to just start adding in black and white photographs. It's a shame, I may select 5 photographs to do in black and white after I have finished uploading them all in colour.
Anyway, these are all Gaudi architecture shots. The building was incredibly difficult to capture, especially since I have no special lenses to capture wide angle shots with. Yet, I think since it was under rennovation/still being built, some of the images I managed to get were good because of the people in them and the light being bounced around by the rennovated stone.
Part 2 of 4 in the Barcelona series. This is a bit of a muddle of a set as it has the beginnings of Gaudi Architecture; but I'm sure you'll manage ;).
This is the first in a select few sets of photographs I am posting from my trip to Barcelona a week or so ago.
There will be 4 more sets of approximately 8 photo's coming up; they're all cropped and re-sized to half their original resolution to make uploading and downloading them easier. Feel free to use them, but please give credit where credit is due.
All Photographs were taken with a Nikon D40 DSLR camera with a standard 28mm lens at various apertures.
